REGENERATION OF PARTS AND ASSEMBLY BLOCKS
Motor vehicles and special machines with particular requests concerning quality and reliability during exploiting are, besides the others, significant product of modern machine building technologies.
Technical maintenance of these means, for the aim of creating a continuous level of technical correctness and safety during the use, represents special task in which, special and expensive equipment is engaged for diagnostics, overhauling and testing, which is handled by specially trained professional personnel.
While performing overhauling-repair of means, the basic principle is the replacement of defective, worn out parts with the new ones. Among the parts which are found to be defective during the diagnozing because they became worn out during the exploiting, there are some which are very complex and expensive because of special material, long period of manufacture and special technological procedures applied in their production. These parts are simply thrown away and nothing is done concerning regeneration, which is giving them back constructional-technological properties that are necessary for their use.
By long work on overhauling means of special purpose TRZ Cacak from the stated above, paid particular attention to special field of regeneration parts, and realized economic saving on overall technical maintenance while overhauling means.
Regeneration of parts, within overhauling of means in present conditions of production has bigger and bigger importance in consideration of wide field of appliance. For instance, there is no industrial branch or economic field where it cannot find its place.
By our own development and collaborating with a lot of domestic and foreign firms TRZ accepted large number of devices and technologies which enable successful regeneration of defective parts with fulfilling required conditions concerning the lifetime and reliability during the use.
Looking at the following indicators most frequently states economy of regeneration procedure:
- Relation between the new and regenerated part;
- Possibility of supplying a new part;
- Needed time for regeneration of the part;
- Reliability of the regenerated part’s lifetime comparing it to the new one.
The quality of regenerated parts
TRZ worked on developing methods for control of regenerated parts. For that purpose, there are modern equipped laboratories for:
- Testing of the chemical content of the material;
- Mechanical testing;
- Metallographic testing;
- Defectoscopy (magnetic, penetrating, ultrasound and radiographic methods of material control without destruction).
Specialized personnel handle laboratory equipment and devices and they have necessary authorization. For all procedures of regeneration of the parts TRZ issues corresponding warranties (certificates, etc.).
