Machining of engine parts represents the component of engine’s general overhauling, by which some functional surfaces of the part are brought on overhauling measures (R1, R2, R3…) ands on that way lifetime of the vital and expensive parts is extended and the expenses of entire overhauling are decreased.
Parts that are most frequently machined on this way are: crankcases and heads of engines, cylinder liners, pistons and piston rods, crankshafts, valves, slide bearings, and other parts in which, during the exploiting, changes of some constructional characteristics occurred (flatness, coaxial, circularity, dynamic and static balancing, etc.).
